System was created for manage IT Account of Chiang Mai University. User can check out any personal information and update it to present. The system have many part for officer to help you to manage information.
Type of IT Account will separate by user’s type like this

  • Employee Account mean who are work in Chiang Mai University and have status “working” from Human Resource of Chiang Mai University.
  • Retie Account mean who are work in Chiang Mai University and have status “not working” from Human Resource of Chiang Mai University.
  • Student Account mean who are student of Chiang Mai University have status "studying" from Registration Office
  • Alumni Account mean who are student of Chiang Mai University have status "not studying" from Registration Office
  • Manager Account is the position account that mean who have position are President of Chiang Mai University, Vice President, Dean of any faculty or other major manager position will get this IT Account.
  • Organization Account is the IT Account that required by any organization of Chiang Mai University to use in any purpose.
Every IT Account we provided was unique and end with "@cmu.ac.th". This IT account are username to access Wi-Fi, email or other services of Chiang Mai University. So Owner please keep it save.

How to get IT Account?

IT Account are provide by Information Technology Service Center. We have One Stop Service to help you. When you contact us, we will ask your personal information and some evidence to present you are our customer. You can call 053943827 for some hrlps (not all problems). This is standard process to do for get IT Account.
  1. Contact us at One Stop Service and tell us what you want.
  2. Show you evidence. It is important to define who you are and you have authorize to get IT Account or not.
  3. We work with CMU IT Account. And get registration paper for sign.
  4. You have to sign registration paper to accept agreement. That is law process.
  5. Send registration paper back to officer and they return you activation code paper
  6. You have to use activation code paper to activate your IT Account do it at https://account.cmu.ac.th/activation
You should remember you username and password pretty good. Other way do is take a picture of your IT Account.

How to Activate IT Account?

  1. Access website https://account.cmu.ac.th/activation.
  2. Use information in activation paper that you get from registration process and your information fill activation form. Then click next button.
  3. Select you available IT account (I suggest select the shortest.). Fill Password then click next button.
  4. Fill your other information. Click next button.
  5. Read summary information. If incorrect you click previous button back to correct it. If everything OK click create IT Account button.
  6. Wait for create IT Account in process. System will take from 5 second to 30 second. Don't refresh browser. After create process result will show. You should take a picture of your IT Account.
  7. Now you IT Account created. Click Finish button to go to Login Page. Test your user IT Account.

What is migration?

Student who have IT Account like "StudentID@cmu.ac.th" (3901###@cmu.ac.th) can migrate IT Account to name_surname@cmu.ac.th. Because new pattern you can get extreme services from Microsoft like Microsoft Office 365. Unlimited OneDrive. This process not necessary for student who use IT Account in pattern name_surname@cmu.ac.th. The way to migration be like this.

  1. Open Web Page https://account.cmu.ac.th/migration/ or click Migration menu on the left side.
  2. Read Over view then click Start IT Account Migration.
  3. Login with your IT Account (StudentID@cmu.ac.th).
  4. System will Show status this account can be migration. Click Generate Registration Form button.
  5. Now you will get registration form and your current account have was expired. Please save to PDF file or Take a picture.
  6. Use in formation in Registration Form to activate IT Account at https://account.cmu.ac.th/activation.

Personal profile.

You can access your personal profile after login to system. On the left side menu or Top right menu have menu's name Profile you can click from there. In profile page you will see Information from 2 source like this.

  • Left Side come from IT Account database. This side use in IT Account Service that provide information to many system.
  • Right Side come from domain controller. This side use in Microsoft Cloud, Email and many system.

Please update your information to present by click Update Profile button below or you can reset your password by click Reset Password button.

Forget IT Account Name.

  • Use Recovery process by click link in top right menu to go to recovery page or open web page https://account.cmu.ac.th/forget.
  • Select type of your account then click Next button.
  • Fill other form then click Send Request button.
  • System will show IT Account Name.

Forget Password.

  • Use Recovery process by click link in top right menu to go to recovery page or open web page https://account.cmu.ac.th/forget.
  • Select type of your account then click Next button.
  • Fill other form then click Send Request button.
  • System will send recovery email.
  • Check your recovery email. Click link from mail.
  • Fill new password. Then save.
  • Try to login.

How to Use IT Account with CMUMIS?

IT Account are required to access CMUMIS System. Before access system you have to registration you IT Account to CMUMIS System. Process are.
  • Go to CMUMIS System at https://mis.cmu.ac.th.
  • On the top right below Login textbox you will find menu "ลงทะเบียน". Click this menu.
  • Fill you citizen ID in form "หมายเลขบัตรประชาชน" then click "ตรวจสอบรายชื่อ" button.
  • If you have information in CMUMIS System it will show your name and surname. Then Fill your IT Account at "อีเมล์" textbox and your password
  • If you IT Account name and Password correct. System will show success message. Then Try to login CMUMIS System again.
If do that process and you cannot registration your IT Account to CMUMIS System, please call 053943932 for help.

How to Use IT Account with CMUSIS?

IT Account are required to access CMUSIS System. Before access system you have to registration you IT Account to CMUSIS System. Process are.
  • Go to CMUSIS System at https://sis.cmu.ac.th.
  • Click Login botton. System show login page.
  • Below Login box you will see link "ลงทะเบียนเข้าใช้งานระบบ สำหรับนักศึกษาที่มีอีเมล์ @cmu.ac.th และยังไม่เคยใช้เข้าสู่ระบบ CMU SIS". Click
  • Fill form "รหัสนักศึกษา" then click "ตรวจสอบข้อมูล" button.
  • If you have information in CMUMIS System it will show your name and surname. Then Fill your IT Account at "อีเมล์" textbox and your password
  • If you IT Account name and Password correct. System will show success message. Then Try to login CMUMIS System again.
If do that process and you cannot registration your IT Account to CMUMIS System, please call 053943932 for help.

How to use IT Account with Wi-Fi JumboPlus?

If you are employee and have status "working" not retie or you are student status "studying" not "alumni". You can use JumboPlus. You can read instruction at https://jumboplus.cmu.ac.th. If you all of instruction and you cannot connect Wi-Fi, please check your device have malware or unwanted software or not. Please check IP configuration, it must be set to HDCP.

How to use IT Account with Registration Office Services?

There have many cause to prevent you login to Registration Office System. Please check these step by step.
  1. You can login this system. If you can login that's mean your IT Account still working.
  2. Please check your information in Registration Office's Login form you fill correct or not.
  3. Make sure you have permission to access Registration Office System or not by call 053943071 or Go to One Stop Service at Registration Office.
  4. If you did all above and it still problem. Please contact One Stop Service at Information Technology Service Center. We will help you find out what is the problem.

How to contact One Stop Service?

Any service about IT Account you will find out at One Stop Service at Information Technology Service Center. Before you come please prepare yourself like these.

  • You must have any evidence to define you are our employee or student.
  • Please list your problems for us to save time because we have many customer.
  • If you have problem about JumboPlus. Please bring your device with you too.

Why my IT Account cannot use in many services?

Many case to prevent you from our services  such as your status change. You forget IT Account Name or password, your IT account expired or disabled befor call for help please do these instruction.

  1. Try to login this system.
    • If you can login. IT mean your IT Account still working. See your information in profile find what's wrong. Current it or contact One Stop Service at Information Technology Service Center for help.
    • If you cannot login. Try Recovery process by go to https://account.cmu.ac.th/forget.
  2. If you cannot recovery. That mean your don't have IT Account or your IT Account may have some problems. Please contact One Stop Service at Information Technology Service Center.
